"I remember you saying that you didn't just want us to pass but to pass well - and to my surprise I was in the end 8% clear of the pass mark!" - April 2006

Thank you for visiting my MRCP Part 2 Website.

Teaching MRCP Part 2 Exam for over 25 years has given me unique, extensive experience and ability to coach candidates for their forthcoming exam. Over this time I have taught well over 10.000 doctors, many of whom are now consultants.

I have amassed a vast bank of past MRCP questions and pictures; many of which reappear in the exam. After each Exam candidates provide me with details of questions that have appeared in the 3 papers. Questions that have recently been set are removed from the course and replaced by those questions from my bank that are more likely to appear. As a result of this, the course is constantly being updated and tailored for the next exam.

By attending my weekend course you will benefit from…

  • My experience with the MRCP Part 2 exam since 1980
  • A course that has a consistently excellent track record with positive feedback, course after course on file
  • A friendly, relaxed and intimidation-free atmosphere where no candidate is 'put on the spot'. You mark your own paper. Do not expect to be lectured to; my style of teaching is a round the table classroom set-up
  • Ample time for discussion. Candidates are actively encouraged to ask questions
  • An emphasis on pattern recognition and technique
  • 19 mock exams including 12 pre-course exams
  • A detailed answer book with full explanations and guidelines
  • Access to a bank of 1000s of relevant and challenging past MRCP MCQs
  • Access to an extensive archive of over 2000 pictures including spinal T1 and T2 MRI and CT and ultrasound scans, CXR, Barium studies, HIV, ECGs etc
  • All Questions which are Past MRCP are not doctored nor made deliberately easy and reflect what candidates may expect in the exam itself. In this way candidates are better prepared

My series of courses will enhance candidates' capacity to…

  1. Understand the case history, data, or slide question quickly
  2. Assimilate all the information
  3. Appreciate important components of the history
  4. Evaluate the significance of relevant physical signs
  5. Focus on pattern recognition
  6. Conclude why one of the stems carries all the marks
